27 फरवरी को इसरो के गगनयान मिशन के लिए वायुसेना के चार पायलेट प्रशांत बालकृष्ण नायर श्री अंगद प्रताप, श्री अजित कृष्णन और विंग कमांडर श्री शुभांशु सुक्ला के अंतरिक्ष में जाने के लिए चुना गया।
भारत अंतरिक्ष में एक और नई उड़ान भरने वाला है। ISRO के मिशन गगनयान (Gaganyaan Mission) के तहत भारतीय वायुसेना के चार पायलट अगले साल स्पेस में जाएंगे।
पीएम मोदी ने उन चार अंतरिक्ष यात्रियों के नामों का ऐलान किया जो देश के पहले मानव अंतरिक्ष उड़ान मिशन-‘गगनयान’ (Mission Gaganyaan) के लिए ट्रेनिंग ले रहे हैं।मोदी ने तिरुवनंतपुरम के पास थुंबा में विक्रम साराभाई अंतरिक्ष केंद्र (VSSC) के दौरे में भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (ISRO) की तीन प्रमुख अंतरिक्ष बुनियादी ढांचा परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन भी किया।
उन्होंने बताया कि प्रशांत बालाकृष्णन नायर, अंगद प्रताप, अजीत कृष्णन और शुभांशु शुक्ला गगनयान मिशन के लिए चुने गए अंतरिक्ष यात्री हैं। ये चार भारतीय पहली बार भारत से अंतरिक्ष की यात्रा कर इतिहास रचने जा रहे हैं। पीएम ने इन चारों को ‘अंतरिक्ष यात्री विंग’ भी प्रदान किया।

PM Modi announced the names of four astronauts who are undergoing training for the country's first manned space flight mission - 'Mission Gaganyaan'. Modi announced the launch at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) in Thumba near Thiruvananthapuram. The visit also inaugurated three major space infrastructure projects of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
He told that Prashant Balakrishnan Nair, AngadPratap, Ajit Krishnan and Shubhanshu Shukla are the astronauts selected for the Gaganyaan mission. These four Indians are going to create history by traveling to space from India for the first time. The PM also awarded 'Astronaut Wing' to these four.
