अर्जेंटीना के दक्षिणपंथी नेता जेवियर माइली ने 19 नवंबर को देश का राष्ट्रपति चुनाव जीत लिया है वो देश के अगले राष्ट्रपति होंगे। उन्होंने अर्जेंटीना में बढ़ती गरीबी पर जनता के बीच गहरे होते असंतोष के बीच लोगों से कई बड़े वादे किए हैं। वहीं रिजल्ट आने के बाद पेरोनिस्ट पार्टी के वित्त मंत्री सर्जियो मस्सा ने हार स्वीकार करते हुए जेवियर माइली को चुनाव जीतने पर बधाई दी। राष्ट्रपति के लिए हुए चुनाव में 95 प्रतिशत वोट पड़ा था, जिसमें जेवियर माइली को 55.8 प्रतिशत और सर्जियो मस्सा को 44.2 प्रतिशत वोट मिले।
