इस साल मिलने वाले स्पोर्ट्स अवॉर्ड्स के लिए खिलाड़ियों के नामों की घोषणा 20 दिसंबर को कर दी है। खेल रत्न पुरस्कार बैडमिंटन की जोड़ी चिराग शेट्टी और सात्विकसाईराज रेंकीरेड्डी को मिलेगा। क्रिकेट टीम के स्टार गेंदबाज मोहम्मद शमी को अर्जुन अवॉर्ड के लिए शामिल किया गया है। राष्ट्रीय खेल पुरस्कार 9 जनवरी, 2024 को दिए जाएंगे।

खेल मंत्रालय के अनुसार, मोहम्मद शमी समेत 26 एथलीट्स को अर्जुन अवॉर्ड दिया जाएगा। मेजर ध्यानचंद खेल रत्न पुरस्कार से चिराग शेट्टी और रंकीरेड्डी को सम्मानित किया जाएगा। खेल मंत्रालय ने बताया कि समितियों की सिफारिशों के आधार पर सरकार ने सभी एथलीट्स, कोचों और संस्थाओं को पुरस्कार के लिए चुना गया है।

According to the Sports Ministry, 26 athletes including Mohammed Shami will be given the Arjuna Award. Chirag Shetty and Rankireddy will be honored with the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award. The Sports Ministry said that on the basis of the recommendations of the committees, the government has selected all the athletes, coaches and institutions for the award.
