सुप्रीम कोर्ट की पहली महिला न्यायाधीश और तमिलनाडु की पूर्व राज्यपाल न्यायमूर्ति फातिमा बीवी का 23 नवंबर को निधन हो गया। जस्टिस फातिमा ने 96 वर्ष की उम्र में अंतिम सांस ली। जस्टिस फातिमा के निधन पर राज्य की स्वास्थ्य मंत्री वीना जॉर्ज ने शोक व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि उनका निधन बेहद हम सभी के लिए दर्दनाक है।

Justice Fathima Beevi, the first woman judge of the Supreme Court and former Governor of Tamil Nadu, died on November 23. Justice Fatima breathed her last at the age of 96. Expressing grief over the demise of Justice Fatima, State Health Minister Veena George said that her demise is extremely painful for all of us.
