SSB Constable and Head Constable Recruitment 2026

The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has released the notification for Constable and Head Constable Recruitment 2026. The application process has started, and candidates can apply online through the official website ssb.gov.in until 20 April 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed Class 10th from a recognized board with relevant trade skills. For certain posts, candidates should also have a valid driving license or ITI certification in the respective trade.

For Head Constable posts, candidates must have passed Class 10th with ITI or Class 12th with a diploma in the relevant field.

Age Limit

The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age ranges between 25 to 27 years depending on the post. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST)
• Medical Examination
