SSC Secretariat Assistant Recruitment 2025: 106 Vacancies for Lower/Upper Division Clerks

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Junior Secretariat Assistants/Lower Division Clerks and Senior Secretariat Assistants/Upper Division Clerks through a departmental competitive examination. A total of 106 positions will be filled. The registration process for this recruitment has started, and eligible candidates can view the notification and submit their applications through the official SSC website ssc.gov.in.
Important Dates: The registration process started on March 20, 2025. The last date to apply is April 10, 2025. The computer-based examination is tentatively scheduled for May-June 2025.
SSC Secretariat Assistant Vacancy Details 2025:
A total of 106 vacancies are available under this recruitment drive. Among these, approximately 70 vacancies are for Senior Secretariat Assistants/Upper Division Clerks, and around 36 vacancies are for Junior Secretariat Assistants/Lower Division Clerks.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Junior Secretariat Assistant/Lower Division Clerk: Candidates must be permanent or regularly appointed temporary Group 'C' employees with a grade pay of Rs. 1800 and meet other eligibility criteria. Candidates must have passed their 12th class and should be under 45 years of age.
- Senior Secretariat Assistant/Upper Division Clerk: Candidates must be regular Junior Secretariat Assistants/Lower Division Clerks who meet the eligibility criteria mentioned in the notification. The age limit for applicants is 50 years or younger.
SSC Secretariat Assistant Salary:
- Junior Secretariat Assistant/Lower Division Clerk: Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200
- Senior Secretariat Assistant/Upper Division Clerk: Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100
It is important to note that after submitting the online application, candidates must send a printed copy along with all necessary documents to the respective service/control authority.
