भोपाल से सटे इंडस्ट्रियल एरिया मंडीदीप में 400 केवी क्षमता का गैस इंसुलेटेड (जीआईएस ) इंडोर सब स्टेशन बनाया जाएगा। 1 दिसंबर को प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार प्रदेश का पहला ऐसा सब स्टेशन होगा। इसके बनने के बाद मंडीदीप और नए भोपाल से सटी कॉलोनियों की 5 लाख से ज्यादा आबादी को अगले 10 साल की बिजली की जरूरत पूरी होगी।

A 400 KV capacity gas insulated (GIS) indoor sub-station will be built in Mandideep, the industrial area adjacent to Bhopal. According to the information received on December 1, this will be the first such sub-station in the state. After its construction, the electricity needs of more than 5 lakh population of colonies adjacent to Mandideep and New Bhopal will be met for the next 10 years.
