छत्तीसगढ़ के नए मुख्यमंत्री आदिवासी नेता विष्णुदेव साय होंगे।

रायपुर के प्रदेश भाजपा कार्यालय कुशाभाऊ ठाकरे परिसर में हुई विधायक दल की बैठक में 10 दिसंबर को उन्हें विधायक दल का नेता चुना गया है। इसके बाद साय ने राजभवन पहुंचकर राज्यपाल बिश्वभूषण हरिचंदन से मुलाकात की और सरकार बनाने का दावा पेश किया। राज्यपाल ने साय को मुख्यमंत्री नियुक्त कर उन्हें मंत्रिमंडल के लिए आमंत्रित किया है। वहीं साय अस्थाई मुख्यमंत्री निवास पहुना पहुंच गए हैं।
