उत्तराखंड में समान नागरिक संहिता विधेयक पारित
उत्तराखंड ने 7 फरवरी को इतिहास रच दिया और दो दिनों तक चली लंबी चर्चा के बाद समान नागरिक संहिता विधेयक (UCC) पारित हो गया। इसके पारित होते ही उत्तराखंड स्वतंत्र भारत का पहला ऐसा राज्य बन गया है, जिसने संविधान निर्माताओं के समान नागरिक संहिता के लिए देखे गए स्वप्न को धरातल पर उतारने की दिशा में मजबूती से कदम बढ़ाए।
Uttarakhand created history on February 7 when the Uniform Civil Code Bill (UCC) was passed after a two-day long discussion. With its passing, Uttarakhand became the first state in independent India to take strong steps towards realizing the vision of the Constitution makers for a Uniform Civil Code.
